Apollo Health Street Names Karen Ferrell as President and CEO
Conshohocken, Penn. – Apollo Health Street, a developer of world-class solutions that tackle
healthcare’s toughest financial and IT challenges, announced today that Karen Ferrell, a
veteran healthcare executive, has been appointed as the new president and chief executive
officer. She will also serve as a member of the board of directors.
Prior to her appointment, Ferrell served as senior vice president of provider contracting and
medical management for CIGNA Healthcare where she was responsible for $32 billion in
medical costs for more than 12 million members. With more than 25 years experience in the
healthcare industry, Ferrell also held leadership positions including executive director at Scripps
Health, vice president of provider contracting Prudential HealthCare, and president of Aetna
Health Plans of Florida.

brings a combination of seasoned healthcare experience and successful leadership. We are

Ferrell earned an MBA from Pepperdine University.
