Apollo Health Street to Provide System Conversion Services for Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia

Conshohocken, Penn. – Apollo Health Street, a developer of world-class solutions that tackle healthcare's toughest financial challenges, announced today a new agreement with Grady Memorial Hospital, the flagship of Grady Health System in Atlanta, Georgia.

Apollo is supplying legacy conversion services to Grady Memorial, which consists of resolving patient accounts on the existing health information system. By utilizing Apollo's proprietary technology, the partnership allows Grady to focus on converting its operations to a new patient accounting application without compromising cash flow during this period of technological transformation.

"We know Apollo's expertise in managing legacy conversions will help minimize the operational expense of phasing out of one system while implementing a new one," said Shaunta Vaughn, senior director of revenue cycle enhancement at Grady. "We will also be able to focus on fine-tuning the new platform and avoid costly delays that could negatively affect our cash collections."

Added Karen Ferrell, president and CEO for Apollo Health Street: "Providers recognize the value that Apollo brings to the table during a system conversion — a well-trained partner resolving all 'legacy' accounts while maintaining cash flow at a critical time. This partnership allows the hospital to focus on end-user training, data flow redesign, and overall system readiness."
