Apollo Health Street Teams with Virtual Benefits Administrator to Provide 5010 Interfaces

Conshohocken, Penn. – Apollo Health Street, a developer of world-class solutions that tackle healthcare's toughest financial and IT challenges, recently announced their new strategic partnership with Virtual Benefits Administrator to complete the 5010 interface project for VBA's claims platform.

VBA provides one common architecture for all benefit plan management processes. It allows medical, dental, vision, disability, life, FSA, HRA, and HSA claims to be processed in one easy- to-use software application. Along with the application, customer service, plan management, and reporting are included.

Apollo's IT Services team quickly mobilized to begin the process of completing the building of 15 HIPAA-compliant 5010 interfaces for VBA's current client demand. They will then prepare an additional 76 interfaces for VBA clients. Apollo's global resources bring together proprietary tools and techniques with industry-leading development methodologies and frameworks.

These new HIPAA compliant formats will be utilized by all health and dental payers beginning in 2012.
Apollo will also be partnering up with VBA to provide its overall implementation capabilities to augment VBA's current implementation resources.
